I’ve been haunting my mailbox here for the last week or so - hoping for both a postcard from my mother and another letter from a friend at home. Checking again today, but not really expecting anything, guess what I found nestled in that little aluminum box? Both a postcard from Rome, and a letter from Jessica.
I was so excited to see both of those, I read the postcard right away, and then tore open the letter on the way back to my room - grinning like a fool of course.
Now that I’ve got my postcard though, I absolutely can’t wait to get my camera back - mum borrowed it while she was in Italy, and she’s sending it back to me sometime soon with all her pictures still on it so I can look at them all. hehe what she doesn’t know is that I’ll be using quite a few of those to make her a scrapbook of her trip. Can anyone say christmas gift?! I’m excited, not gonna lie. The only problem is that I am notorious for not being able to keep a secret. Sooo hopefully I can keep my mouth shut for about….. six months. ohdear.
I have been to Europe, but that was about six years ago when I was in high school. I’d never change it - we had an amazing trip, visiting Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, France, and Liechtenstein. Italy and Greece have always been high on my travel list, so hopefully I’ll have a chance to visit there someday.
